Solitude's Ten Mile Snake River Float Trip

Our most popular begins at Deadman's Bar located just below the scenic Snake River Overlook. The river runs smoothly here, through a pristine, natural landscape that features both a forested and open meadow environment. This special sanctuary is home to an abundance of wildlife, waterfowl and other bird life including the majestic bald eagle. The most prominent and impressive peaks in the Teton Range are ever present above you. This trip is perfect length (approximately 2 hour actual floating time) to fully experience a river adventure, enjoy beautiful scenery and view wildlife, all within the heart of the park. Sunrise Ten Mile Snake River Float Trip

These trips offer you a quiet welcome to a new day. These 10-mile trips which begin at daybreak make it possible to visit a special place at a special time and have the river to yourself. Typically, an early morning trip affords the best opportunity for wildlife viewing and photo opportunities. These trips are offered mid June through mid September.
